Hello!

I’m Lauri, a French illustrator based in East London.

After studying art and photography, I moved to London where I worked for various companies within the creative industry. During this time, I was involved in some great projects but the urge to create something of my own never left me. I eventually reconnected with my childhood passion for drawing, which led me down the path to becoming an illustrator.

My work is defined by organic lines, expressive characters and a variety of textures. I draw inspiration from modern culture and the little absurd situations I (may or may not) witness in everyday life. What I enjoy most is finding the right way to communicate a message, often with a subtle touch of French humour. I’m particularly drawn to themes around lifestyle, food/drinks, literature, wellbeing and nature.

My background in creative roles has shaped an adaptable and thoughtful approach to collaboration. I enjoy finding the right tone for each project, helping clients communicate their message while making their brand stand out by bringing my playful style into work that feels genuine.
